Thanks to the generous contribution of The Alex and Doris Malaspina Funds, the David Miller Awards Program supports three important aspects of The Forum's activities. - Allowing premier speakers to present at The Forum meetings
- Increasing networking opportunities for attendees
- Increasing the pipeline of scientists who value enhancing knowledge through dialogue
Award- Reimbursement for travel expenses to attend a future Forum meeting with free registration to that meeting
- Free membership for 3 years
- Expected to participate in future Scientific Program Planning Committee which may include
- Lead development of a timely Session
- Chair, present, and/or be a panel member in that Session
Nomination Process
To submit a nomination for the David Miller Emerging Investigator Travel Award, please complete the submission form below. The nomination period is open on a rolling basis with Board review and selection twice a year.
Criteria for Nomination
- Open to professionals with less than 10 years of experience
- Applications judged on basis of
- Regulatory Science Focus: Evaluate contributions to regulatory science, including cross-sector collaboration that has potential to constructively shape regulatory policies, guidelines, or standards.
- Professional Development and Leadership: Consider involvement in professional organizations, attendance at relevant conferences, and relevant leadership roles.
- Nominations may be made by anyone; self-nominations are welcomed
